Baby Angel

My sis-in-law just gave birth to a 3.1 kg, beautiful baby girl on Saturday, the 11th May 2007 at 9.25 a.m., a day after their 1st anniversary. Isn’t that cool? My sis-in-law said that she tried everything to deliver the baby early because she was so exhausted and just want the baby out from her tummy! She said she had a refrigerated “air kelapa muda” drink the day before to expedite the birth (seriously? I never knew this). Congrats Bob and Farahah!

Welcome to the world, FARAFISYAH RAZAD. Check out her cheeks! Hehehe…

Oh yeah, one more thing…I just need to vent out...isn’t it just annoying when people keep asking you, “dah ada apa-apa ke ni?” or “dah berisi ke?” I mean as much as I would want to get pregnant ASAP if tak ada rezeki lagi then what to do la kan? It’s only been 3 months anyway! I’m even afraid to tell the junior clerk in my department that I’m going to the clinic because I’m having a headache (which I’ve been having a lot because of this hot hot weather) for fear that she might tell the whole department that I may be pregnant. That goes for my relatives too. Some of my aunts have been asking me the same question. It’s so damn blardy annoying laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

And oh yeah, thehubby has been asked the same question by his colleague as well. I really do not want to get all stressed out but I am beginning to…sigh…

Trip to the Zoo

It has been a long time since I went to the zoo. So during the long weekend 2 weeks ago, I decided to take thehubby and my darling nephew, Hareez to the zoo. Thehubby has never been to the zoo so he was all excited and giddy the night before. Since I am so sure that I am gonna get lost (I’ve got a track record for getting lost e.g. I could not find Stadium Bkt Jalil at the National Sports Complex coz I took a different highway and I missed half an hour of Disney’s On Ice Finding Nemo show) so I asked my good friend Odie whether I could follow her car and we convoyed together from her house in PJ to the zoo.

Hubby, Hareez and I waited for Odie, her husband, Jac and her lovely daughter Kyra and we started our journey to the zoo around 10am. Reached the zoo at 11am and met up with another 2 of my colleagues, Noobs and Girl With Hot Butt (hereafter referred to as “GWHB”) at the zoo. Noobs and GWHB just came back from Singapore so they were still pretty exhausted but nevertheless they wanna didn’t miss an opportunity to look at the Ape and take photo of its butt (photo of the ape’s butt is courtesy of Noobs btw).

Noobs and GWHB have got these really cool cameras (I’m just so jealous coz it can zoomed so close) and some of the pictures below are courtesy of Noobs. U take good pictures girl!

Hareez afraid of the elephant

The goojas giraffes

Hareez after his nap

Eeek! Ular yang cacat

When someone says, "Eh, kau ni macam cipan la" then this is what he/she meant. This is a "cipan" or known as tapir in English. Seriously.

Hareez and Kyra. Aren't they just adorable?

Doesnt this remind you of "waktu2 kat asrama berebut makan"? hehehe...

Aaahh...this is life..makan, minum, mandi and tidur only 24/7. What more can one asks for?

Say Ahhhhh..Hareez imitating the croc or was it the tiger?

Bontot siapakah yang cun ini? A Very rude ape showing us his Arse!

I was hoping to see the panther, puma and the cheetah but they’re nowhere to be found! Noobs suggested we take Puma’s sports clothing or shoes and just put in the puma’s den instead so at least it wouldn’t be so misleading to the public. When I see the sign “puma” outside the den I expect to see a real life puma in there, not an empty den.
Something needs to be done with the condition of the animals in the zoo. The animals looked so bored and if I were them I would pull all my hair out too! There were simply no activities for them except for the ape, sea lion and the elephant who had their own shows.

How To Save A Life

What would you do if a close friend of yours or even a sibling tells you that he/she is depressed and thought about ending his/her life? At first instant, you would probably think that person is just joking or craved for unnecessary attention. You would probably dismissed it and tell that person to stop being silly and stop talking about committing suicide because as a Muslim it is against the religion to do so. That’s probably what I would say, I think.

Committing suicide is a sin in all religion. In fact, it is even against the law. In the Penal Code it says that whoever attempts to commit suicide and does any act towards the commission of such offence that person shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine, or with both. Can you imagine going to jail AFTER you’ve failed to kill yourself?

I have been reading the newspaper these past few weeks and there are so many reports on suicide. Secondary students as early as 15 year olds who failed their exams and couldn’t take the pressure and the thought of disappointing their parents decide to end it all by drinking pesticides. Or the story about a 15 year old boy who quarrelled with his girlfriend and then decided to hang himself because he was so depressed about the break-up. I would think that teenagers would be so afraid of dying because they have so much to look forward to. But I guess I was wrong. One mistake and they think that they have nothing to live for, that ending their life is the answer to everything.

I guess these kids take cue from the adult. I read in the newspaper about the 33 year old guy (that’s MY age!) who quarrelled with his mother and committed suicide. How about the housewife who jumped from her apartment building because she suspected her husband was having an affair and she just couldn’t take it? Thank god she didn’t have any kids. Can you imagine what the kid would have to go through? For the rest of his life the child may be thinking that his mom didn’t love him enough to stay alive.

Why is it that people are so depressed nowadays? Does it have to do with how stressed we are at work? Or that we are so busy with our own lives that we failed to notice a friend in a depression or is suicidal? Why do teenagers commit suicide? What do teenagers have to be depressed about or do they even understand what depression is?

I’ve never had friends or relatives who had died from suicide before and I hope I never have to experience it. I would hope that if a friend or a close relative were to come to me and tell me that they are depressed and thinking about ending their life then I would drop everything and listen to them, take them seriously.

After all, that’s what everybody need sometimes. Someone to listen and just be there for them. I was watching MTV with thehubby and the videoclip of “How to Save a Life” came on. Thehubby told me what the song was all about. You should listen to it.

Whassup? Whassup?!!

I miss blogging. I wish I could write as often as I want but time seriously does not permit me to do so.

I’ve been promoted to a senior level about 2 weeks ago. I guess that is why life has been very hectic and work has been very challenging. I have to learn so many new things and I don’t think they’ll be a grace period for me to make mistakes and learn from it especially since I have to deal with so many policies right now be it regulatory or operational.

Despite work being challenging and all, I still have time to watch my favourite series like Heroes (so many dub-dab moments!!), Grey’s Anatomy 3 (I love this new season coz you-know-who and McDreamy are back together but huwaaaaaaaaaa…so many sad moments in each episode until I have to have tissue paper with me when I’m watching it) and Prison Break 2 (Wentworth is just so yummy, don’t u think so?). Everytime I walked pass The Gap in 1Utama I feel like going in and grabbing Wentworth’s poster hung against the wall and bring it home with me so I can do notty stuff to it. Hahaha…

Oh yeah, what’s up with these Americans la? Why is that Sanjaya dude still in the American Idol? That guy can’t even sing to save his life!!! So who is your favourite Idol? I like Jordin, Lakisha, Melinda (she should seriously get that "surprise look" off her face) and Blake. But I have a feeling Jordin and Blake are going to be in the finals.

Ouuhhh..have u guys been following Akademi Fantasia on AstroRia? That Dafi guy is quite cute and that Heliza chick is gorgeous!

I’ve been so out of touch with everybody and I miss all my blogger friends.

So what is new with you guys?

Sleeping Together

It’s only been a month since my recent nuptials and I can already feel like my life is changing bit by bit. Some are good changes and some are well I wouldnt say bad but definitely an eye-opener for me. It's true what they say, "you never really knew someone until you have lived with them."

I’m getting used to having someone sleep beside me, getting used to not hogging the pillows and sharing the bed with someone else. I am also getting used to snuggling beside him, having his arms wrapped around my shoulders, getting butterfly kisses and a big bear hug from him after he comes back from work and before going to bed.

However, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to him farting out loud and hearing him pee in the toilet! Argh!!!

Oh well, u win some and you loose some I guess. He’ll have to live with the cute sounds I make when I’m deep in my sleep. And I do mean CUTE!!

Bola-bola satu ke bola-bola dua...over!

I received this e-mail early in the morning today and my only response was,

"How the hell could a golf ball get into her punani?"

Seriously, how BIG can your ahem get? *Shudder*

So moral of the story is : Don't marry a basketball player, a rugby player or a lawn ball player! Dangerous wooohhh...

The Unforgettable Hen Night Party

I just thought I HAVE to share with you guys what happened during my hen night party (since Hobo was so curious abt it) which was held a week prior to my wedding by my ever so wonderful colleagues cum gorgeous friends...

I was spesifically asked to come to one of the restaurants at OneBangsar in an all white outfit (kononnya like an "angel" la) whereby all my colleagues would be wearing a red/black outfit (kononnya like the "devil" la...memang devil pon!). But they all looked so pweety!

Note to self and others : The restaurant manager was hot and cute! My friends reserved a private room unstairs which is so nice and cozy and they didnt even have to pay extra for it. Cool kan?

As soon as I arrived at the restaurant I was asked to put on a pink/white coloured veil and as one by one of my so called "devilish friends" arrived, we ordered food and they got me this really nice sparkling non-alcoholic juice which is really really yummy and it was pink and purple in colour (they know me so well).

After dinner, they started the hen night party by playing the "truth or dare" game. Im such a chicken so I chose to answer questions truthfully rather than do the dare. Well, most of the questions that is...Hehehe...Can't post pictures of me doing the dare becoz if I did that then id have to stop blogging forever. YES! It was that embarrassing!

After all those "hard" questions were answered, one of the waiters came in to dim the lights and suddenly I saw a cake being brought in with one lighted candle on top and surprise surprise it was in a shape of a P-E-N-I-S with the "booloos" and the "squirts" and all...Euwwww! But the cake was delicious though..lemak berkrim! Hahaha...Dont u think the cake was not very well-proportionate? Somehow the "balls" are bigger but the errmmm...schlong was shorter..
After we had the cake and drank our sparkling juice i thought okay this is it then. Thank god they did'nt get me a stripper coz they were saying that I should be prepared for any possibilities and I thought hey! getting a stripper would cost a lot of money and personally I did'nt think they were brave enough to do it. Boy was I wrong!

The cute manager came in and dimmed the lights and suddenly I heard music and this man dressed in a leather outfit appeared out of nowhere and started dancing erotically around me and starting touching me and I just shrieked! Dammit! The gurls really did get me a stripper! He was dancing all around the table and the funny thing was he not only "molested" me but ALL my friends who were there. No one was spared. Some of my friends tried to escape by running around the table and he was running after them! Such a funny sight! Hahaha...
Where's the bride? Yoohoooo...
One thing he did'nt do was stripped totally naked. Thank god for that! He just took off his shirt and pants and was only in his undergarments. Guess he thought I would'nt be comfortable since Im wearing tudung and all...but I have to admit that I had so much fun and laughed so hard till my tummy hurts and errmmm..I did smack his tushee like a couple of times (sorry Hubby but I didnt wanna disappoint the gurls...hehehe). He danced for about half an hour (or less i think but to me I thought it was longer coz I was out of breath coz I was laughing so hard and was asking myself when is this gonna stop)

Okay, after he finished his performance I thought phew, that was it and thought I would have some time to catch my breath and lo' and behold he came back in wearing a different outfit this time and was even more bolder than before, Im talking about the way he danced and oh yeah, there was definitely more body contact than the first performance he did! My goodness! Here we go again...the shriekings and laughing and the gurls running around the table again to escape him...his second performance was shorter than his 1st one so after he left the room and said goodbye to us I asked my friend how and where the heck did she get this guy and guess what? The half-naked stripper was the brother of the cute manager and my friends actually got him on the house! The cute manager apparently called one of my friends out and asked her whether it was a real hen night party to which she said yes and then he asked her whether they would like a stripper on the house and being true Malaysians of course la these friends of mine agreed. Sapa tak nak benda free kan? Nasib baik the half-naked stripper was not bad looking, kinda cute jugakla...hehehehe...

After the stripper had left the room, the cute manager then came in and congratulated me on my upcoming wedding and actually told me that I was quite sporting seeing I was wearing tudung and all...like hello?? It's not like I was gonna do anything crazy like go home with the stripper you know...I thanked him for what he has done and told him that I endured all that coz I know how much trouble my friends went through organising the hen night for me and i didnt wanna spoil the fun by being a prude and all...nothing wrong with having lil bit of fun, right?

After all that was over I took pictures with all my friends and shed some tears coz I was so moved by what they did i.e. organising the party for me and not the "getting the stripper" part okay! I'm sooooooo gonna get back at them non-married friends of mine next time...
