Rasa Yang Ku Tinggal Mati Part Deux

I finished my part of the story last night while hubby was watching that Korean movie “200 pounds beauty” on dvd. Sixty, let me tell you it wasn’t an easy task.

Oh, for you folks who have no idea what I’m talking about, I’m doing a tag courtesy of
sixzerosix.blogspot.com/ from this post --> http://sixzerosix.blogspot.com/2007/06/rasa-yang-ku-tinggal-mati.html
So here goes...
He got off at a very familiar stop and walked against the chill autumn wind.

He thought about what had happened just now. He still couldn’t believe that she had ended it. He loves her but she obviously didn’t feel the same about him, he thought. He cannot stop her from breaking it off. He knows that he cannot force her to love him. In his mind he kept replaying how he had met her for the first time.

It was his first year at college. His roommate, Andy had asked him to accompany him to watch the last game of the season at Highbury. He’s never been a supporter of any English football clubs. Andy on the other hand was a crazy Gunners fan.

As they were making their way to their seats, he heard someone shouting for Andy. He looked up and there she was flailing her arms wildly at them.

“Andy! Andy! Here!”

She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. She had this big brown eyes and the most infectious smile. She looked really good – fresh and friendly and she was wearing this bright lime-green t-shirt that added to the freshness.

She hugged and said hello to Andy and asked him how it was going and smiled at me. Andy introduced her to me. Delilah. Of course. It all makes sense. Only a beautiful woman can have a beautiful name like Delilah. We shook hands and sat down. Andy said that Delilah and he are coursemates.

Throughout the game, all he could do was look at her. Who cares if Arsenal had won the game that day? He was happy seeing her happy, she was laughing, jumping up and down like a kid after the final whistle was blown.

After the game they went for a drink. Andy had to go off meet his friends but he didn’t mind being left alone with her at the bar. He enjoys listening to her talk about herself. She told him that she was from Sg. Petani, Kedah. Her parents had died from a car accident when she was 11 years old and her grandparents took care of her since.

“So, what did you think about the game?” she asked.

“It was great! Arsenal won. Wooohooo!” I said.

“What was the score?” she asked.

“Errmmm…2 to 1?” I said.

She laughed.

“You weren’t paying attention to the game, were you? Do you even like football?”

“Honestly, no. I don’t understand how 22 men could fight over one ball. Get one each I say.”

She laughed again. God. He loved hearing her laugh. They looked at each other across the table for a couple of seconds. She sat straight and took the shades from her head and put them down. She swept her hair back out of her eyes in slow motion and wet her lips with her tongue.

“You’re very amusing…and honest. You’re not pretentious like the others. I like that. You’re cute too” she said while edging herself closer to him.

She smelled so good. Like daisies. She was making him dizzy with her scent. At that moment all he wanted to do was grab her and kiss her hard on the mouth.

Just as he was about to ask her whether she wanted to get out of there he saw a man walking towards their table. He man put his arms around her and planted a kiss on her mouth. It was not the “hi, how are you doing, you’re my friend” kinda kiss but more of a “I miss you, the love of my life” kinda kiss. She kissed him back.

“Badrul, meet Daniel, my fiancée” she said.

Fuck.

He can’t be there, he thought. He can’t sit there imagining himself kissing her when her fiancée is sitting right across him at the table. He told them he had to get back to his dorm. He got up and shook her fiancee’s hands. He got out of the bar and as he was about to cross the street he heard Delilah calling his name. He turned around and Delilah had put her hands on his face and kissed him.

“This is my number. Call me, Bad. Don’t forget to call me okay” she said.

“Okay.” That’s all he could say. He smiled at her and she smiled back.

He turned around and crossed the road and as he was walking back to his dorm he was grinning like a baboon, not that he knows how a grinning baboon looked like but if he did then he was sure that was how he must have looked like.

Okay folks. I’m passing the baton next to Lil’ Miss Easydent @ http://easydent.blogspot.com/. I’m sure you’re a good storyteller. The rules of this tag are simple :-

1. You must not finish the story
2. You can tag more than 1 blogger to continue the story
3. There is no theme to the story. It doesn’t have to be a tragic love story.
Sixty can decide later who should end the story :-)
